Thank you for visiting! We hope you will get to know the real people who make up our congregation. We are not perfect; just forgiven. We are a place of refuge for all who seek the mercy and love of God in Christ. Join as we seek to learn and grow spiritually as followers of Jesus Christ.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God— not the result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life. (Ephesians 2:8-10)

Some basics about us...
We believe that Christ loves us and has called us together to be a welcoming and serving community. We believe that Christ sends us out into our community to share His compassion and to proclaim His unconditional love for all. He calls us all to make a real difference. Come and be a part of that difference! Ascension takes its name from the event of Christ being taken up bodily ("ascending") into heaven (Mark 16:19-20; Luke 24:50-53; Acts 1:6-11).
Worship Times & Eucharist Info
We offer two Sunday morning worship services: 8:30 and 10:30. Sunday school is at 9:30. Childcare is provided for 10:30 worship only. Eucharist (Holy Communion) is celebrated at each Sunday service. All baptized Christians are invited to receive this sacrament. Through this holy meal, Christ's true and real presence is shared, giving us the promise of God's love and forgiveness. Children (and adults) who do not receive communion are welcome to kneel at the altar for a blessing.

During the summer (Sunday before Memorial Day to Sunday before Labor Day) we offer one Sunday morning worship service at 9:30.
