Wednesdays in Lent
On Wednesdays in Lent, we gather for Evening Prayer (Vespers), and for many years, we have sung "Holden Evening Prayers" as written by Marty Haugen.
While it's easy to sing along, it's just as beautiful to pause and simply listen and ponder.
Supper is available prior to our Prayers. Join in the experience – Signup is not required, only helpful.

Ascension is blessed with many national cultures and ethnic backgrounds
in our membership, and it has become
an annual tradition for us to share and celebrate our diversity with our community.
Folks mingle and navigate their way
from one “country” to another,
getting small servings or tastes
from the various dishes each offers.
